Hard Rock Theme Park

"Just about anyone who has ever visited Myrtle Beach looks forward to rides. Screaming roller coasters, eerily haunted houses, and break neck tilt-a-whirls. It seems only natural that the traditional carnival days of the Grand Strand are about to erupt into a family experience that is the most talked about since Disney among theme park enthusiasts."

Located between Highway 501 and the Intercoastal waterway, very close to the Waccamaw Outlet Shops, construction is underway on the new Hard Rock Theme Park.

The park will have various themed sections including "Cool Country” and a retro seventies area. The signature roller coaster for the Hard Rock Theme Park is "Led Zeppelin The Ride” This coaster features a sound system in each car and soars along the track to the Led Zeppelin hit "Whole Lotta Love".

Some of the features in the kiddie area are a giant water playground and the world's largest black light poster The Magic Mushroom Garden. Other rides include spinning rides and the Reggae River Falls.

The Hard Rock Park Amphitheater is being built and is expecting various performers throughout the season along with special events on an outdoor lawn designed for shows and concerts.

Tickets commemorating the opening of The Hard Rock Theme Park in 2008 are on sale now. To purchase your tickets. Click Here.
