Get Ready For Holiday Shows and Shopping!

Combine your Myrtle Beach Thanksgiving Vacation With Shows and Shopping! The special Holiday show offerings are usually kicked off around the first of November. Consult the following links for individual show schedules!

      

Alabama Theatre - "One The Show!" has been named the Governor's Tourism Event of the Year and South Carolina Venue of the Year. The Celebrity Concert Series brings many big names to the theatre throughout the year.

Carolina Opry - The Carolina Opry has won every major South Carolina tourism award possible. It is the only show in Myrtle Beach to be featured on NBC Nightly News, CNN, TNN and USA network. The Today show called the Opry a big hit. If you see only one show at the beach, make it the Carolina Opry.

Dixie Stampede - Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is the most popular dinner attraction in Myrtle Beach. The show is enhanced with wonderful scenery and pyrotechnics.

Legends in Concert - Don't miss this funfilled show featuring a rotating cast of tribute artists recreating superstars from yesterday and today.

Medieval Times - An action-packed dinner and tournament. "Give them a Knight they'll Remember"

Palace Theatre - Featuring a variety of dance and musicals with morning and evening shows. See the calendar on their website for details.

Spirit of the Dance at the Palace - Winner of nine Global Awards, including "Best Choreography" and "Best International Production"

Tribute The Concert - Calvin Gilmore's new“Tribute the Concert” opened in March, 2004. Gilmore is best known as the producer and owner of The Carolina Opry (above.) "Tribute" features tributes to legendary performers which change every three months. The Tribute theater is located at 701 Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The 20,000 square foot theater has been refurbished for Gilmore’s new production.

Coastal Grand Mall , a joint venture between Myrtle Beach's Burroughs & Chapin Company and CBL & Associates Properties of Tennessee. CBL is one of the largest mall developers in the countr. Coastal Grand which opened on March, 2004, is Myrtle Beach's newest mall.

Two chain stores new to the Myrtle Beach area have opened on the outparcels of Coastal Grand. Costco and Best Buy.

Broadway at the Beach - Specialty shops and boutiques filled with delightful surprises you won't find anywhere else in Myrtle Beach. All are nestled around a 23-acre lake in three distinctively themed "Villages": the Caribbean Village, Charleston Boardwalk, and the New England Fishing Village.

Inlet Square Mall, Murrells Inlet. at Hwy 17 Business and Hwy l7 Bypass offers many stores for your shopping pleasure, as well as sponsoring many events and programs.

Waccamaw Factory Shoppes - The mall that was once a beehive of activity is making way to Hard Rock Amusement Park, currently scheduled to open in 2005. At this writing, the Pottery has closed, and only one or two stores remain open including QVC. The shops are located on Highway 501 at the Intercoastal Waterway, only 3 miles from downtown Myrtle Beach.

Pawleys Island Hammock Shops - This is the birthplace of the original rope hammock and home to two dozen Lowcountry cottage shops, with such treasures as fine handcrafts, jewelry, clothing, and furniture.

Hudson's Flea Market - The largest covered open air Flea Market on the Grand Strand is a "Best of the Beach" winner with 430 Vendor Spaces and 5 acres of free parking.
