Generations Enjoy Myrtle Beach

This Article is an opportunity to hear a Myrtle Beach fan of generations share her experiences with our Grand Strand.

“Along with my family, we have traveled to Myrtle Beach for 20+ years. Since this is a family oriented vacation hot spot, it would be great to hear from other families that have spent many vacations at Myrtle Beach and to find out exactly what they enjoy doing the best and where they frequent the most. During our first vacation to Myrtle Beach, our two children were quite young. Since then, we have vacationed each and every summer into their high school and college years. While in high school, we brought along their friends and we have also traveled with other friends and their families making many wonderful memories. Now, we are starting another tradition, with our grandchildren, ages 7, 5 & 2. Our first grandchild was 7 months old when he first vacationed. We brought him again at age 18 months. We have been back several times since and this summer; the entire family is coming back again. Our grandchildren love Myrtle Beach just as much as their parents did when they were little. Although the Pavilion is no longer there and will be greatly missed, we still can't wait to get back. Between the Water Park, Miniature Golf, Shopping, Golf, Great Dining, Entertainment and of course the beautiful beach, what else could a family want?” - Ann Elionfante

Note from the Editor: A special thank-you to Mrs. Elionfante for taking the time to share her appreciation of our wonderful "family vacation hotspot". As a Myrtle Beach "old-timer" myself, my parents brought me to Myrtle Beach as a child. Now my whole family has actually migrated to the Grand Strand, including my sister, parents, nephews, and children. Myrtle Beach is a hard place to "leave from".
