EVERYONE remembers their sunglasses, sunscreen and their favorite
camera when they visit the beach...don't they? But I'll bet
not many of you give much thought to netted grapefruit bags
for collecting seashells or baby powder to get the sand off
your feet easily.
Here's a list of 20 "don't forgets"
for you to print out and check off the next time you plan a
visit to Myrtle Beach!
1. Benedryl for sand flea or mosquito bites
2. Some 100 watt light bulbs because hotel rooms are often dark
3. Good books
4. Stamps for postcards and a list of mail addresses
5. Plenty of film - or extra batteries if you have a digital
camera
6. Empty netted grapefruit bags for shells
7. Moist towelettes or wipes
8. A map
9. Extra large plastic bag for laundry
10. Extra set of car keys
11. After-sun lotion and sunburn spray
12. Extra suitcase for shopping finds
13. An iron if you plan to go out at night to a formal place
14. If you plan to use the coffee maker in your room, bring
along your own coffee and filters
15. Bandages and Neosporin Ointment
16. Clothespins to make sure towels don't blow off the balcony
when drying.
17. Baby powder (gets the sand off!)
18. Playing cards and games in case of rain
19. Lots of quarters if you plan to do you laundry in pay machines
20. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! It's a MUST at Myrtle Beach!
