Beach Riding: Myrtle Beach State Park
January 2 - February 2, 2007
Equestrian beach access December, January and February only.
Due to environmentally sensitive sand dunes, sea oats and safety
concerns, ingress and egress to the beach is allowed only at
the designated access. Parking for equestrian users is limited
to the 2 non-paved parking areas.
The First Annual Winyah Bay Heritage Festival
January 11 - 14, 2007
This event is long overdue considering the rich waterfowl and
fishing heritage of the Low Country of South Carolina. The Winyah
Bay Heritage Festival will be a celebration of waterfowl decoys as well as other hunting and fishing collectibles that have been a
part of the region’s way of life for more than 300 years.
The Festival hopes to bring together wildlife artist, exhibitors
and collectors from the southeast, as well as admiring hunters
and fishermen.

I Can't Stop Loving You
January 12 - January 13, 2007
This tribute brings the music of Ray Charles to life. The dazzling
Broadway-style revue features 35 songs that were either written
or interpreted by Ray during his extraordinary 50-year career!

Sixteen artists to be exhibited from earlier works to latest
from the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild. Each Artist exhibits
changes that have evolved in their technique and media during

The Fabric of Jazz: A Tribute to the Genius of American Music
January 2 - February 2, 2007
Santa Fe artist Lauren Camp creates original art quilts infused
with the soul of jazz music and the joy of color. Through the
medium of layered fabric and intricate thread work, this exhibition
uniquely portrays jazz giants Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald
and Louis Armstrong among other luminaries.
