Carolina Opry Christmas Spectacular - thru December 31, 2005
The Carolina Opry Christmas Spectacular is a true variety show complete with music, dancing, and Christmas comedy. Some of its recurring favorites are the Star of Bethlehem, which has been a part of the Spectacular since the show’s beginning in 1986, and the one-man portrayal of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Alabama Theatre Christmas Special - thru December 31, 2005
Alabama Theatre, which hosts the likes of Travis Tritt and Lorrie Morgan, are pulling out all the stops for their Christmas special, which will include 5,000 dance moves, elaborate costumes, and live music. The show will be performed six nights a week through New Year’s Eve.

Dixie Stampede Christmas Special - thru December 31, 2005
What happens when elves from the North Pole meet elves from the South Pole? Snow fight! This is something you might encounter when watching Christmas at Dixie, the Yuletide show hosted by the Dixie Stampede. Elves from both sides will stop to serve dinner, of course. The Stampede is one of the few shows in Myrtle Beach that comes complete with entertainment and a good meal. Stop by Dolly’s for some good food and Christmas cheer.

Beach Ball Classic -
December 26-30,2005
The tournament began in 1981 with 8 teams, 4 in-state and 4 out-of-state. In the 22 years since then, the Beach Ball Classic has grown into the premier high school holiday tournament in the United States. 16 teams from around the nation vie for the coveted championship trophy.
