vacation an unforgettable one. Below you will find a few of
our upcoming favorites. For accommodations, please visit our
friends at The
Myrtle Beach Resort.
South Carolina Watercolor Society
November 2 - 26, 2006
A perennial favorite, the South Carolina Watercolor Society’s
annual juried exhibition comes through the auspices of the South
Carolina State Museum’s Traveling Exhibits Program. With approximately
30 works of every imaginable style, but all in the aqueous medium,
this exhibit brings much pleasure to viewers. It’s not
uncommon for works to be purchased from this show, for its appeal
is generally universal. The coastal area boasts some very gifted
watercolorists and, as a rule, they are juried in ways that
always please the local visitors.
