The Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival features more than 100 fine artisans. The festival provides aesthetic beauty against a background of natural beauty. Enjoy fine art, quality crafts, Lowcountry food, and the area’s finest musicians.

Myrtle Beach Fall Bike Week
October 3 - 7, 2007

This is the perfect time of the year to enjoy touring around the Grand Strand area, especially on a motorcycle! Motel and hotel rates are not as high at the Fall Rally as they are in the spring and many places will offer special rates if you are staying for several days.

Mandala Sand Painting: The Architecture of Enlightenment
October 9-14, 2007

A sand painting created by the Tibetan Monks will be the focus for a 5 day exhibit which will have a ceremonial opening and conclusion by the Monks. Millions of grains of sand with 30 hrs of teamwork will create the Mandala for the museum.

Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art
October 12 - 27, 2007

The Pawley's Island Festival of Music and Art is in its fifteenth year. All events will be held under the Performance Tent at Brookgreen Gardens. Jazz with Branford Marsalis, classical, bluegrass, flamenco, gospel, fiction, string quartet, wine festival, childrens theater and more!
