31st Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival
September 22 - 24, 2006
Atalaya Castle, fills its concrete halls once again for what
is known as one of the top 50 art shows in the country. Originally
the summer home for the prestigious Huntington family(the artists
responsible for many of the works you see at Brookgreen Gardens),
the home and grounds are now part of the South Carolina State
Parks system. Judges select from over a hundred submissions
to find the top artisans in the country to participate.

Good Living Weekend in Georgetown County
September 29 - October 1, 2006
It's a “Good Living” weekend, and you can enjoy
all this alongside life stylist and best-selling author Sandra
Lee of Semi-homemade fame. You'll also rub elbows with food
editors from Family Circle, Better Homes and Gardens and Ladies’
Home Journal, as well as chefs from Georgetown County's abundance
of great restaurants.

Myrtle Beach Fall Bike Week
October 4-8, 2006
This is the perfect time of the year to enjoy touring around
the Grand Strand area, especially on a motorcycle! Motel and
hotel rates are not as high at the Fall Rally as they are in

Pawley’s Island Festival of Music and Art
October 6-21, 2006
This musical event features an eclectic variety of music. It
includes: beach music, jazz, classical, gospel and bluegrass
concerts. It will also include a wine tasting festival and a
children’s theatre festival.

11th Annual Arts & Fall Festival
October 12-15, 2006
Activities include the Chili Fest, a children's pumpkin carving
contest, live entertainment, and a fireworks display. Festivities
will begin at 10 am and end 9:00pm.
