Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival - September 23-25, 2005
Once again Atalaya Castle fills its concrete halls for what
is known as one of the top 50 art shows in the country. Originally
the summer home for the prestigious Huntington family (the artists
responsible for many of the works at Brookgreen Gardens), the
home and grounds are now part of the South Carolina State Parks
system. Judges select from over a hundred submissions to find
the top artisans in the country to participate.

The Pawley’s Island Festival of Music and Art

Enjoy the fine arts culture at the beach! This 14th annual
event is something that should not be missed. The Pawley's Island
Festival of Music and Art brings ballet, opera, and symphony
to an unexpected place. This year the festival has moved to
the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens.

Surfside Beach Annual Family Festival - October 1, 2005
Join us for a day of fun as we celebrate our families and our

10th Annual Arts & Fall Festival - October 12-16, 2005
Activities include the Chili Fest, a children's pumpkin carving
contest, live entertainment, and a fireworks display on October
16th. Festivities begin at 10 a.m.

Georgetown Wooden Boat Exhibit - October 14-15, 2005
This is an exhibit to honor Georgetown’s maritime heritage.
Craftsmen compete to build a wooden boat. There will also be

Loris Bog-Off Festival - October 15, 2005
A well-known, favorite dish in nearby Loris, SC is chicken
bog. This is a wonderful blend of chicken, sausage, rice and
seasonings. Enjoy not only chicken bog but arts and crafts vendors,
a children’s pavilion, and three stages of live entertainment.
The festival is finished in style with a fireworks display and
the Loris Bog-Off Festival Concert.

20th Annual St. Andrews Taste of the Town
October 18, 2005
