52nd Annual Grand Strand Fishing Rodeo Competition
April 1 - October 31, 2005

There are over $10,000 in prizes to be won at the Grand Strand's 52nd annual Fishing Rodeo. Whether you caught your fish from the pier, surf, inlet or deep sea it may be eligible for a prize. The Grand Prize Winner receives $200.

6th Annual Horry/Georgetown High Schools Juried Exhibition
April 3 - May 8, 2005

The Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum will offer area students a unique opportunity to display their work. The students may submit artwork to professional judges and artwork, by students who qualify, will be exhibited in the Art Museum. Cash awards will also be given and art offered for sale.

Other events, coming to the art museum April 21- May 29 include: The paintings of Ray Kass and Adorning Arts.

Cure Autism Now Foundation Cup - May 12-15, 2005

The CAN Cup is a golf tournament for all golfers, no matter what their level of experience. The proceeds go to the Cure Autism Now foundation. The foundation is an organization of parents, clinicians and scientists working to find a cure for autism by raising money for research projects, education and outreach.

Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Week Rally - May 13-22, 2005

There is not much to say about bike week that hasn't already been said. After all we've been doing it for 65 years and it is a part of Myrtle Beach. Thousands of motorcyclists flock to the Grand Strand from all over the country and the world. Vendors arrive by the hundreds to offer the newest and most up to date equipment. There are several rides daily to benefit every imaginable charity and a party every night. “The Myrtle Beach Spring Rally is considered by many to be the best rally in the world."

Veterans Golf Classic - May 22-25, 2005

Atlantic Beach Bikefest - May 26-30, 2005

Atlantic Beach hosted its first bike rally in 1980. The event has grown as the festival continues annually on Memorial Day weekend. It attracts over 250,000 people to the Atlantic Beach and Myrtle Beach areas.
