Annual Canadian-American Days Festival
March 11-19, 2006
Kick off The Canadian-American Days Festival at the Myrtle Beach
Convention Center. Four groups will provide entertainment and
refreshments will be available. Get acquainted with all the fun
that the area has to offer as you plan your stay during this special
time at Myrtle Beach.
For 13 years, The Canadian-American Days Festival has been selected one of
the Top 20 Events, by the Southeast Tourism Society. In 1997,
the festival received The Shining Example Award for festival
of the year in Category 1.

Oklahoma! by Richard Rodgers & John Hammerstein
March 22-26,2006
A wonderful way to experience Theatre in Myrtle Beach is to
attend performances at Coastal Carolina University. This year's
musical is Oklahoma which opened in 1943. Oklahoma was the first
musical to use music and dance to allow characters to express
themselves. All the musicals that followed were modeled after
this technique.

Spring Swing/ Big Band Festival

The La Belle Amie Vineyard offers a relaxing afternoon of great
music and an assortment of activities. Local artists and crafters

N. Myrtle Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is a wonderful
celebration of an Irish holiday. It has become a highlight of
Myrtle Beach’s Can-Am week and rightfully so. The day
offers an enormous variety of food and fun. Area artisans and
crafters show off their wares and the St. Patrick’s Day
Parade is something that you do not want to miss. For the past
15 years the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival has
given Myrtle Beach residents and visitors a holiday to remember.

Pop 101

Pop 101 is a local favorite performed by Coastal Carolina University’s
Contemporary Music Ensemble. It is directed by Dan O’Reilly
