Annual Canadian-American Days Festival - March 12-30, 2005
The Canadian-American Days Festival® has been selected one
of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast for the past 13 years
by the Southeast Tourism Society. In 1997, the festival received
The Shining Example Award for festival of the year in Category
1.
Festival highlights include the Little Olympics, International
Kitefest, concerts, riverboat tours, a senior softball tournament,
South Strand Wildlife and History Day, and the St. Patrick’s
Day Parade and Festival.

8th Annual Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Juried Exhibition
March 3 - April 17, 2005
Come to the Myrtle Beach, Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum for
the 8th Annual Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Juried Exhibition.
Here you can enjoy an eclectic exhibit that includes oils, watercolors,
mixed media, ceramics and sculpture. See the beautiful and interesting
works of professional artists and also get a closer look at
artwork, sometimes referred to as outsider art, as featured
recently on Good Morning America.

An Everlasting Piece: Quilts from the McKissick Museum
March 5 - April 17, 2005
An Everlasting Piece is a collection of quilts and quilt squares
dating as early as the 1830's. Twelve to fifteen quilts and
framed quilt squares will be featured.

Spring Swing/ Big Band Festival - March 19, 2005
The La Belle Amie Vineyard offers a relaxing afternoon of great
music and an assortment of activities. The Andrew Thielen Big
Band, The Dan O’Reilly Quartet, and The Jim Schneider
Trio will share music. Local artists and crafters will present
their works. All of this and not to mention the wine, wine tasting
and delicious food. Bring a portable chair.

Grand Strand Fishing Rodeo - April 1 - October 31, 2005
Enter your catch from the pier, surf, inlet, or deep sea at
participating weigh stations along the Grand Strand for monthly
decals, shoulder patches and prizes (Over $10,000 in cash and

Calling All Moped Riders - April 2-3, 2005
Not every week is Bike Week at Myrtle Beach. If you sometimes
prefer your moped to your Harley join in the fun of a moped
ride. The ride will be approximately 50 miles. You must be at
least 14 or older to participate.

This years Annual Car and Craft show will be held at the Georgetown
Community Church. There will be classic to current cars featured.

The Palace Theatre presents “Crazy for You” -
April 10, 2005
Take a stage struck playboy and put him in a Nevada mining
town and the outcome is sure to make you laugh. The Palace Theatre
is offering a single performance of "Crazy for You"
based on the Gershwin Brothers’ 1930 hit “Girl Crazy”.

Golfapalooza - April 11-16, 2005
Golfapalooza is a four-day golfing event. Participants celebrate
golf at courses all along the grand strand. Golfapalooza is
the best place to see and try all of the newest golf equipment
at many of the area's golf courses.
It moves to Broadway at the Beach on Thursday and Friday to
celebrate with a free concert featuring J.J. Appleton from NYC
and headliner Edwin McLain.
