Winter Parrot Head Festival - February 26, 2005

Warm up with hot music "Jimmy Buffett" style. Music by Jan "Big Bam Boom" Vaughan and The Little Big Band. Hot spiced mulled wine, vineyard tours, prize give-aways and more. Local artists & crafters will have their products for sale. Bring a portable chair and enjoy an afternoon of music, food, wine & fun.

Pier Birding Pleasure - March 1, 2005

Meet at the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier and take a 2-mile walk to Springmaid Pier. Along the way search for waterfowl, terns and gulls, as you enjoy the Myrtle beach coastline. This activity is designed for adults and the cost is 5.00 per person. Pre-registration is required.

National Shag Dance Championship Finals - March 10-12,2005

Annual Canadian-American Days Festival - March 12-30, 2005

Kick off The Canadian-American Days Festival at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Four groups will provide entertainment and refreshments will be available. Get acquainted with all the fun that the area has to offer as you plan your stay during this special time at Myrtle Beach.

For 12 years, The Canadian-American Days Festival has been selected one of the Top 20 Events,by the Southeast Tourism Society. In 1997, the festival received The Shining Example Award for festival of the year in Category 1.

8th Annual Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Juried Exhibition
March 3 - April 17, 2005


Come to the Myrtle Beach, Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum for the 8th Annual Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Juried Exhibition. Here you can enjoy an eclectic exhibit that includes oils, watercolors, mixed media, ceramics and sculpture. See the beautiful and interesting works of professional artists and also get a closer look at artwork, sometimes referred to as outsider art, as featured recently on Good Morning America.

"Cabaret" A Musical - March 2-6,2005

Cabaret is a musical by John Van Druten based on a book by Joe Masteroff. The setting is an underground night club in Berlin during World War II. As the war rages beyond it’s walls the characters in the story take a break from a real life of hardship to experience freedoms we often take for granted today. The play also highlights music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

Spring Swing/ Big Band Festival - March 19, 2005

The La Belle Amie Vineyard offers a relaxing afternoon of great music and an assortment of activities. The Andrew Thielen Big Band, The Dan O’Reilly Quartet, and The Jim Schneider Trio will share music. Local artists and crafters will present their works. All of this and not to mention the wine, wine tasting and delicious food. Bring a portable chair.

N. Myrtle Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival
March 12, 2005

The St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival is a wonderful celebration of an Irish holiday. It has become a highlight of Myrtle Beach’s Can-Am week and rightfully so. The day offers an enormous variety of food and fun. Area artisans and crafters show off their wares and the St. Patrick’s Day parade is something that you do not want to miss. For the past 15 years the St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival has given Myrtle Beach residents and visitors a holiday to remember.

Exhibits,at the 25th Annual Doll Show and Sale will include: sale tables of an assortment of collectable dolls, doll accessories and clothing, doll making supplies and kits and much more.
