Flat,
Fast, Furious and Fun the course runs through the streets of
Myrtle Beach. Start at Coastal Federal Field on 21st Ave N.
Run on Ocean Blvd along the Atlantic Ocean and return to the
Finish at Coastal Federal Field. Every runner receives a Finisher's
Medal on crossing the finish line.

Crazy Crustaceans - March 4, 2004
Learn
about the natural history of crabs such as blue crabs, stone
crabs, ghost crabs, hermit crabs, spider crabs, speckled crabs
and more. Live specimens will be on hand. After the indoor portion,
you will venture down to the state park pier and discover how
various types of crab traps work. You will also learn the importance
of follow regulations to help keep crab populations healthy.
Wear clothes suitable for being on the pier.

Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Juried Show
March 4 thru April 18, 2004
The sixth annual Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild Annual Juried
Show opens at the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art
Museum March 1, 2004. The show includes works in oils, acrylics,
watercolors, pastels, graphite, mixed media, batik, photography
and sculpture.
Selections were made from over 175 submissions by artists from
throughout Southeast. Awards presented include the Rebecca Bryan
Best in Show Award for $800, a first place award of $600, a
second place award of $400, a third place award of $300, and
the Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture Award of $250. Ten honorable
mention recipients were also named.

Canadian-American Days Festival® has been selected one of
the Top 20 Events in the Southeast for the past 12 years by
the Southeast Tourism Society.
