Myrtle Beach DirectAir Flights

Three new flights with Myrtle Beach DirectAir have been highly successful in 2007. The flights fly into Myrtle Beach from Niagara Falls, New York City and Pittsburgh. A new route is expected including St. Petersburg/Clearwater, FL beginning December 20, 2007 and another to Columbus, OH in March.

The existing flights to and from Niagara Falls have proven so successful this year that Myrtle Beach will be extending these flights, which were scheduled to run between March and October on through November.

Judy Tull, Myrtle Beach Direct chief executive officer, is quoted as saying, "The Niagara region has great potential and based on the success of our initial entry into Niagara Falls, we are very optimistic that the flights to St. Petersburg will be just as successful."

The success of air travel to and from Myrtle Beach SC, with Myrtle Beach DirectAir, is an exciting asset to the community itself. Economically reliant on the seasonal tourist trade, this new success affords the area, which boasts a beautiful convention center and a downtown in the process of being rebuilt, new venues of year round business trade.
