Many of our visitors have requested information on the availability of pictures depicting our Low Country. We now have access to artwork by Steven Jordan, one of our well known artists residing in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
In the past fifteen years, his paintings have won numerous national awards, including the Colorado Art Association Award, the Grumbacher Gold and Silver Medals, the Winsor Newton Award, the San Diego Watercolor Society Award, the Georgia Watercolor Society Bronze Medal, the Louisiana Watercolor Society Medal of Excellence, and the Emily Lowe Memorial Award from the American Watercolor Society. He has had paintings accepted in most major exhibitions, including Watercolor USA, Watercolor West, American Watercolor Society, and the Butler Institute of American Art.
The readers of two local publications selected Steven as the best area artist and his gallery was voted best area art gallery.
