Beach Riding: Myrtle Beach State Park
January - February , 2008

Equestrian beach access December, January and February only. Due to environmentally sensitive sand dunes, sea oats and safety concerns, ingress and egress to the beach is allowed only at the designated access. Parking for equestrian users is limited to the 2 non-paved parking areas. Permit is required

The Second Annual Winyah Bay Heritage Festival
January 19 - 20, 2008

The Winyah Bay Heritage Festival is a celebration of waterfowl decoys, and other hunting and fishing collectibles that have been a part of the region’s way of life more than 300 years. The Festival hopes to bring together wildlife artists, exhibitors and collectors from the southeast, as well as admiring hunters and fishermen.
