| The
Harley-Davidson Myrtle Beach Bike Week and Atlantic Beach Bike
Festival, two of the biggest tourist events to take place each
year in Myrtle Beach, are receiving some much needed plans to
alleviate traffic . Motorcycle festival groups such as the Bike
Week Task Force aim to reduce congestion along Ocean Boulevard
by spreading biker events from Murrells Inlet to Little River.
Typically, the visiting bikers concentrate on the area along
Ocean Boulevard from North Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet. By
extending the area over which events take place, event planners
hope to lighten the load on Highway 17, which sees heavy traffic
during these busy times.
