Myrtle Beach Off-season

Myrtle Beach Where The Fun Never Stops

Fall and early winter are great times to visit Myrtle Beach. Golfers enjoy perfect weather for golfing, the water is still warm and the days are mild and sunny. Most of the areas attractions such as live shows, dinner theaters, Ripley’s Aquarium, Magiquest and more are available for loads of family fun during long weekends and breaks from school. Accommodations are greatly more affordable and the atmosphere relaxed after all of the busy excitement of the summer. There are also numerous local festivals featuring music, food, and crafts that are not available to summer vacationers. If you haven't visited Myrtle Beach in what is known as the "off-season" check it out and see what you've been missing.

Attractions - Magiquest is a magical adventure through a challenging wonderland at Broadway at the Beach. For some added excitement check out what’s playing at the IMAX theatre a, three-dimensional experience that you won't forget or see the sharks and pet the stingrays at Ripley's Aquarium.

Live Shows - See Le Cirque at the Palace or Elvis and many other believable Celebrities at Legends.

Dinner shows - For non-stop exciting entertainment and a feast to fit a king visit Dixie Stampede or Medieval Times.

Beach Scenes - The beach is a particularly lovely treat this time of year with glorious sunrises and sunsets. It is a place for quiet walks and lazing around. Take a hint from the locals and bring a fishing pole because this is the best season for fishing as well.

Festivals - Local Art Shows like the legendary Art in the Park at Burroughs and Chapin Park or The Holiday Spirits Festival at La Belle Amie Vineyard, should not be missed. For a look at some of the other local festivals to attract you to the beach check Myrtle Beach Living's Calendar of Events.

Accommodations - Resort accomodations are the best with low prices and many amenities such as indoor heated pools and jacuzzis, weight rooms, saunas, arcades for the kids and more. Check out the prices at the Myrtle Beach Resort for an affordable family surprise.
