An Unusual Turn of Events

2004 brings an unusual phenomenon to the Grand Strand area - typically, Spring Break and the Easter holiday bring flocks of people to the beach on two separate weeks. But when these weeks fall during the same dates, hoteliers find themselves with one very booked week, and availability before and after.

So, what does this mean to the thrifty consumer? Sale, sale, sale!

For those who have flexibility, the weeks of April 3-10 and 17-24, 2004 are time periods in which vacationers will find some fantastic deals. The Myrtle Beach Resort, a 33-acre condominium community, is offering their guests who travel during these weeks savings up to 15%. “The weather is beautiful throughout the month of April. Not all guests can travel during the week of Easter. The best bargains are out there for those who have the option to stay on either side of this (Easter) week,” says Jack Cox, President of Resort Vacation Services at The Myrtle Beach Resort. More information can be found about this sale by visiting our friends at The Myrtle Beach Resort .

Recent developments on the Grand Strand are bringing in higher volumes of traffic than ever before. With the new Coastal Grand mall opening this week, many guests are regional visitors curious to see what the new developments bring. Travelers who visit the area during an off-holiday week will find their travel more pleasant as the roads in Myrtle Beach, like so many other places, are very busy during the holidays . So take the time to visit Myrtle Beach in April, and reap the benefits of your savvy shopping!
